Subodh Arora, MD is the chief of Vascular Surgery at The George Washington University Hospital and is an assistant professor of Surgery at The George Washington University Medical Center.

He founded the Washington Vascular Forum and is a member of the American Association of Vascular Surgeons, Eastern Vascular Society, Chesapeake Vascular Society, Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society and the Washington Chapter of the American College of Surgery.

Dr. Arora attended Yale University for a post-doctoral research fellowship and surgical residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. He completed his final fellowship in vascular surgery at Harvard Medical School in Boston.

Because of his research and the depth of his vascular surgery experience, Dr Arora has been invited to speak at medical conferences worldwide. His research interests include the use and development of non-invasive modalities in vascular surgery and the study of the microcirculation and the macrocirculation physiology, especially in the diabetic patient.

Dr. Arora has been honored with many awards for his research. The most recent award was an educational grant from the Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society (PVSS).
